We love Simplicity, and we love doing web design the right way. Our vision is to make the web design process a little less stressful & a little more affordable, and to be there for you for the life of your business.

We've got big plans for how SimplicityDMS will grow in the next few years, but for the time being I'd love to share with you the 'why' behind what we do... Our Founder, Allison, comes from a background in supplement sales and veterinary medicine, two professions that have taught her a lot about business, strategy, and success, but also consumed a LOT of her time. Most evenings she had no idea when she was getting home, and most mornings she spent sifting for hours through emails.. 100% of the time she was completely exhausted. But you know what? Life is too short. When it came down to it, she wanted to turn something that she found interesting, fun, and forever challenging into a company that would allow her to pay attention to her kids & family..  To really spend time with them, you know? To try to have a positive impact on them. To keep things simple. To not be rushing them off to daycare, or rushing around to try to 'enjoy' time with our friends and family. She wanted to truly support entrepreneurs in their journey, not extort them for being business owners. To be able to work with them to make their businesses GREAT.

So, you might ask, how does this help the small businesses that we support?

Well, there's a saying that's something along the lines of 'If you want the job done and done well, hire a Mother'. We truly believe that being Moms & women gives us a unique advantage in website design. We get it all done. There's something about managing meltdowns and negotiating with tiny humans that has honed our ability to handle urgent needs of clients and navigate tricky design challenges. We don't exactly believe in multi-tasking but us Moms are excellent at planning, focusing, and getting things accomplished that need to be. We pay attention to details. We don't always sweat the petty stuff. Are we going to answer your 1am email? Probably not at 1:30am, but you betcha we are going to answer it. You can also bet on the fact that if we don't know how to do something, we're not going to stop until we figure out how to do it for you.

What else does being a Mom mean? Well, it means we love working with other Moms! We love being people that other business owners can count on... Whether your baby is your labradoodle, your business baby, or perhaps a tiny human... We think we all need a little more of that kind of community.

Ultimately, our dream for SimplicityDMS is to simplify the website design and building process, keep things affordable for people, and provide the ongoing support and 'nudging' when necessary to make sure you keep an eye on what's important for your website. Our goal isn't to charge you an arm and a leg for a website and then disappear, off to the next sale. The perfectionist in us wants to make sure that your site performs well, that you know how to make edits that you might want to, or at least know how to email us when you need something done. Most importantly, a year from now we don't want your website to be obsolete because it hasn't been touched in a year! Let's work together to work smarter, not harder.
